Manipur Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike, Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, cabinet ministers, MLAs and high-ranking officials including top civil and police officials were present. A large number of people also participated to pay tribute to him.

During the ceremony, the Governor and the Chief Minister offered floral tributes, followed by a guard of honour, general salute, reversed arms, sounding of the last post and two minutes of silence.
